# Developer

The **Genghis Kahn AI** project is led by **Marcus Rein (**[**Twitter** ](https://x.com/marcus_rein_)**|** [**Github** ](https://github.com/marcusrein)**|** [**Linkedin**](https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcusrein)**)**, an experienced developer with a **diverse background** spanning both **crypto and traditional industries**. With **four years in the crypto space**, Marcus has contributed to [**Soulbound Labs**](https://github.com/SoulboundLabs) and **Edge & Node**, gaining deep expertise in **blockchain development, smart contracts, and Web3 ecosystems**.

As a **full-time Developer Relations specialist**, Marcus is actively involved in:

Outside of tech, Marcus has an entrepreneurial spirit, having been a **business owner**, a **former USA soccer player**, and an avid **baker and dog owner**.
